Today, June 3rd, we reach the final episode of Naughty Dog's "Inside The Last of Us" series, with the fourth and last video which talks about the world presented in the game and how much it expands the one we've met in Part I.
For starters, Jackson is one of the few places that actually seems to be safe. They have built a community where children can grow and play, while older people can fall in love, much like Ellie and Dina. They even have electricity and it's the closest you get to a normal life.
Outside the community, things are different, though. Everything is dangerous, everywhere there's a thread waiting in the corner. Ellie is always in danger, whether it's because of humans, infected, or even the weather itself.
In Seattle is where the plot thickens and things really get difficult, Ellie and the player barely have time to breath, it's like a warzone and also full of wildlife. It said wildlife will attack the player is not mentioned, however they gave us a little more information about the new factions: the WLF and the Seraphites.
Each group will have their own style of fighting and the player will need to come up with different strategies to face each of them. While the WLF has heavier weapons, the Seraphites are stealthy and can shoot bows at you, which you have to remove or Ellie will constantly lose health.
Apart from that, there's also new infected types and sometimes hordes of Runners, where the only choice is to run and escape.
